Transfer Tracks Perspective: Larry Gill

Meet Larry Gill, a transfer student from Meridian Community College. Born and raised in Meridian, he wanted to stay close to home. “I chose to come to MSU-Meridian so that I could continue to work at State Farm, a job I’ve held since high school, and still pursue a degree.”

Larry decided to major in Business Administration because he knew he was a true entrepreneur. “My dream has always been to open my own business, whether it's in insurance or laying tile floors.” As he nears graduation he has really enjoyed learning interesting information that will be helpful in his future business endeavors.

“My favorite thing about MSU Meridian is the small class size. The professors seem to have more time for individualized help.” Larry offered this advice to future transfer students; “Learn as much as you can from the very first class to the very last class, and always read the materials the professors give you.”
