Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement the programs and mission of the American Cancer Society. With hundreds of chapters nationwide, CAC is showing the world that young people care and want to make a difference. For 100 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has worked relentlessly to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Together with millions of our supporters worldwide, we’re helping people stay well, helping people get well, finding cures, and fighting back against cancer.

Feed The Hunger

Feed the Hunger is an organization with the goal of raising monetary funds to host a packing event. Meals packed at this event will be packaged by students and community volunteers. The meals will then be shipped across the world to various locations in need of food.

Girls Engineering Change, Mississippi State University Chapter

This organization works towards bridging the gender gap in STEM fields. The primary purpose of this organization shall be to encourage young girls to consider careers in engineering by holding sessions that will allow them to be exposed to various global problems that engineers solve. The young girls will have the opportunity to build various items including solar powered USBs, small games, and calculators to be donated to the developing world. Through close interaction with college student mentors, we hope to inspire the next generation of female engineers.

We are the first medical mission group at MSU that offers students the opportunity to serve under privilege countries in ways of medical clinics, education, and more! We focus on areas such as Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, and Ghana.

Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education-Louis Stokes Mississippi Alliance Minorit

The acronym IMAGE stands for INCREASING MINORITY ACCESS TO GRADUATE EDUCATION, and the IMAGE Program at Mississippi State university strives to prepare IMAGE students in science, engineering and mathematics (STEM) so that they will be able to successfully enter graduate school after their undergraduate studies. Everything we do is oriented toward striving for excellence, and students who accept the challenge to pursue excellence become IMAGE Scholars. Our goal is to help all IMAGE Scholars graduate with high grades and the ability to succeed in postgraduate studies – thus the name IMAGE, “Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education.” If you are looking for an undergraduate program in science, engineering, or mathematics, IMAGE has a place for you.

Dance Marathon at Mississippi State University is a year-long campus wide fundraising movement that culminates in an all-night-long Dance Marathon to celebrate the money raised for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mississippi State University National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Co

The primary purpose of the Mississippi State University College Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People shall be to improve the political, educational, social and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; to keep the public aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination; and to take all lawful action to secure its elimination, consistent with the efforts of the national organization and in conformity with the Articles of Incorporation of the Association, its Constitution and By-Laws and as directed by the National Board of Directors Constitution for Collegiate Chapters. In addition, its objectives shall be to educate, as well as inform, the students of Mississippi State University; along with the surrounding counties of the reoccurring problems that affect African Americans and other minority groups. Also, to create a structuralized system in which the consistent flow of intelligent, adamant, and effective leaders are produced. These objectives and more shall be pursued in accordance with the policies of the Association within the framework of University regulations.

MSU Spectrum

Spectrum is a student organization on the Mississippi State University campus dedicated to promoting awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and offering a safe place for members of this community and our allies to come together to do some good on our campus and throughout our local community. No Longer Bound is an organization dedicated to raising our voices on Mississippi State's campus and beyond in an effort to end modern day slavery.
