War Is Hell

Hometown Starkville resident. White male 28 years of age. I joined the National Guard in December of 2006. I enrolled at MSU shortly after. I have been enrolled and in the military ever since. A current undergraduate in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I have been spent more time overseas than a large portion of current students have spent on campus. I am happy to note that I will after literal blood, sweat, and tears, fighting multiple deployments and overseas missions I will be graduating Dec 2017. It has been a long road fighting the good fight and trying achieve higher education. I've probably had to withdraw more semesters than most have attended. I am well rounded and have experienced many aspects of life and work force.
This is a "Letter From The Front" in which I drafted. The event described in the letter is 100 percent authentic. Yes it is a true story. If you knew me you would know that I have at least 50 more stories just as hilarious and unbelievable as this one. The theme of this is a letter to my mom From a day in war.. It is much more light hearted and funny than my other submission. I get requested to tell this story at least three times a month. And I am a much better story teller than writer. That being said I hope you enjoy.
