This organization serves as the campus chapter for Habitat for Humanity. We will serve to create an awareness for the Habitat for Humanity's Starkville branch, the housing crisis in Starkville as well as the socioeconomic disparity, and of the many ways one can get involved with Habitat! Our organization has many teams with unique ways you can get involved in your community! Our teams include, The Fundraising Team (The Funds-Builders), The ReStore Team (The Store-Builders), The Construction Team (The Home-Builders), The Media & Advertising Team (The Confidence-Builders), and The Family-Selection Team (The Relationship-Builders). The MSU Horticulture Club offers interested students the opportunity to further their horticultural education in an informal, fun, and competitive manner. Club activities include community service projects, plant sales, trade shows, competition at regional and national meetings, and trips. Through identification and judging of plant materials, students have the opportunity to travel and bring recognition to themselves, and the university. The mission of the MSU Horticulture Club is to encourage the study and practice of all phases of horticulture. Any interested MSU student is welcome to join the Horticulture Club.
